At the E3 2008 Press Conference, the company announced a new cross-platform community network called ‘Nucleus’. It will basically allow you the functionality of the Xbox Live and PlayStation networks like playing with friends, chat, sharing your gamer score etc., only it will stretch across all major platforms!
Along with this announcement, came that of EA’s ‘Rupture’. Developed by Napster’s creator, Shawn Fanning, Rupture will offer social networking (much like Facebook, Orkut possibly) which will be gaming centric.
