EA Cutting costs?
By: Avinash Bali   |   Aug 07, 2006
Is developer EA cutting down costs to even out certain losses (cough* The Godfather* cough) we aren't aware of? Yeah sure it may be a conspiracy theory formulated by yours truly, but think of it, last week they were one of the publishers that had a problem with E3 and felt the event was way to exorbitant to be financially beneficial. This week, we get news that EA has shut down servers for all its games released in 2005 and to add insult to injury, it seems official support for these games will cease by the 1st of October.

Here's a list of games you won't be able to play online from this month onward:

  • FIFA Soccer 2005 for PS2

  • FIFA Soccer 2005 for Xbox

  • FIFA Soccer 2005 Demo for Xbox

  • FIFA Soccer 2005 for PC

  • EA Sports Fight Night Round 2 for PS2

  • EA Sports Fight Night Round 2 for Xbox
