Even though the game met with moderate success, the developers felt the need to come up with a sequel and this time round, developer BugBear has shifted the action to streets. They also seem to have invested a lot of time and money in Flatout's OST.
According to Mike Higgins, CEO of Empire Interactive, "Fans who are looking for an exhilarating mix of music this summer will want to turn off their radios and turn on their gaming systems. We have been able to bring together the hottest names in rock n' roll for the soundtrack to FlatOut 2."
