I've been waiting for the Hitman movie for quite some time now, and since I think Vin Diesel kicks ass (in certain movies and in EFBB), I was interested so see how that would work out. Unfortunately, it seems we aren't going to see Vin live for that s**t as he's no longer attached to the project; he's been replaced by Timothy Olyphant, the very same dude who plays Seth Bullock from Deadwood.
Now I haven’t managed to catch Deadwood, but I hear this guy is quite the badass, so he may do the role justice, although I still feel Jason Statham was destined to play Agent 47. Either way, filming is supposedly going to start pretty soon as writer, Skip Wood has already penned the movie's script down. The movie will be co-produced by Luc Besson along with Chuck Gordon, Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter, and should hit theaters next fall.
I for one don't feel that vin diesel is fit for the role of hitman.Seems to bulky for being a hitman.Jason statham would have been the best possible pick up for the hitman movie.If you have seen the transporter & statham in it then you would know why he fits the bald assasin so excellently.Sure statham would have to alter his tone a bit but neverthless he would have been the best possible choice.Looking forward to this film though.Being a huge fan of the hitman franchise will definetly catch up with it.
