Last year id Software’s John Carmack stated that his "company is pursuing Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake franchises with other partner developers." According to an article on Yahoo! News, Raven Software will be working on another game in the Wolfenstein series. I for one, really liked Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and I hope they give this next game similar treatment. Here's a little from the article:
"The company is currently working on a new game based on the "Wolfenstein" series, and with newer motion-capture technology, it is working with a local actress to be the character in its movie.
Actress Carrie Coon is put in a spandex suit that has 63 reflective markers at strategic places on her body. Twenty-four infrared cameras in Raven's studios track Coon's every move as she replicates movements that her character will perform in the game. Information will then go into a computer to create a virtual character based on her body, WISC-TV reported."
The game's name or any other details for that matter aren't revealed yet. What is specified however is that the game will see a 2008 release. I really can’t wait.

I really don't want a girl to be the hero!!
I really hope that Id Software change their minds about the leading hero character. I LOVE BJ BLAZKOVICZ!!
I also hope that they decide to delay the release date to 2012. Then they will have more time to work on the game - make it even more better. I also heard an rumor about microsoft.com planing a new XBOX consolle in 2010. I do have some other questions about the sequel to Rtcw:
1 - When will the official trailer for the game come out?
2: Is there any Non-German website about the sequel to Rtcw who has new screenshots and things like that.
