Rumor Control #1: Getting Lost!
By: Avinash Bali   |   Mar 28, 2006
After hearing about the Desperate Housewives video game adaptation, I've gone pretty numb within, so no amount of franchise milking can really shock me (unless of course they really do make a game on Oprah Winfrey). Hence I wasn't that appalled when I heard rumors about the video game adaptation of ABC's drama, 'Lost'. Not only is the game rumored to have a single player campaign, but it may have a multiplayer mode as well that'll pit the survivors against something. I wouldn't put it past them to make the game a cross between Far Cry (lush, dangerous island) and the Sims (dealing with a bunch of emo wrecks).

Since April fool's day is approaching, rumor mills have been shoved into over drive but most of them should be put to rest by E3 2006.
