Ubisoft announced today during its financial report for the first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2007, that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction has been delayed. The game, which was originally scheduled for release in the third fiscal quarter of 2007-08, will now be released in the fourth fiscal quarter; that means it will ship sometimes between January and March of 2008.

Doesn't surprise me. I think delaying games is the new marketing fad; lieing to us about the release date to build hype. Sorry Ubisoft, didn't work on me, and I think the rest of the gaming community is tired of this BS. Don't try and tease us with an early release date, just tell us the truth from the beginning.
