The Wii came second, selling 1.8 million consoles, leaving PS3 in the dust with around 750,000 units. I'm sure that if the Wii had units easily available, they could have equaled the 360's sale figures, if not beaten it. For the PS3's sake, lets hope that they see a better holiday season this year, else they'll be totally out of the game.
sony needs to straigten up and realize what a HUGE mistake they made with the PS3. the blu-ray concept, although it hasn't done too bad, may very well be the only reason why they actually buy a PS3. since nintendos only success has been with first-party games such as the mario/zelda franchises. 360 has the clear advantage with great 1st and 3rd party games and with the best online play it clearly should be the winner.
