Logitech Harmony 885 features Smart State Technology, that allows users to press just one of the Activity buttons to automatically set up an entertainment system. The Harmony 885 remote includes support for Teletext by providing dedicated buttons that correspond with the red, green, yellow and blue functions, putting complete control at people's fingertips.
The remote is optimized for use with HDTV and PVR/DVR (Digital Video Recording) systems. The Remote automatically lights up when picked up and controls up to 15 devices with more than 250 different activities.
With a large color display, the new Logitech Harmony 885 advanced remote control offers enhanced navigation that simplifies the use of new home-entertainment systems. The Harmony 885 includes a docking station that keeps the remote charged.
It features options such as 'Watch Satellite', 'Watch a DVD', and 'Play a videogame'. For instance, with the click of a Watch a DVD button, the advanced universal remote turns on the TV, DVD, Stereo receiver, sets all inputs to the DVD and begins playing the disc. With instant access to an internet-based worldwide database of infrared codes, users can control all devices from all manufacturers, including HDTV, satellite and cable boxes.
