Internet telephony services provider, World Phone Internet Services, has launched 'unlimited plans' in Mumbai making international call rates to USA, UK, Australia and Canada available to Mumbaiites at Rs. 1,500 onwards per month.
The service will be available in cities like Pune, Nagpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Mysore and Chandigarh by mid-January 2008.
Aditya Ahluwalia, Chairman, World Phone Internet Services Private Limited, said, "We are extremely excited to be launching our internet telephony services in Mumbai. If the response in Delhi is anything to go by, Mumbai will be even more exciting, both for us and the users of our extremely affordable international calling plans, the superior quality of which, distinguishes us from the other players in the market. We are confident that our services will find preference with the Mumbaiites."
Subscribers will get a regular telephone with an international virtual number, which if directly plugged in to a DSL/broadband Internet connection, will allow them to make unlimited international calls to the country of their choice.
World Phone's new plans have features like unlimited voice mails, automatic voice mail forwarding to designated email ID, caller ID display and blocking, call forwarding to any international numbers, conferencing and 3-way calls, unlimited incoming calls and unlimited free calls between World Phone customers.
World Phone has also introduced basic plans to suit different users. Click here for details.
