HP Launches Entertainment Laptop

Hewlett-Packard India has introduced the HP Pavilion tx1000 Entertainment Laptop PC with 'twist and touch' screen. The PC is handy for students to jot down class notes, carry easily within the campus and stay connected to email and the Internet using the latest wireless technology.


With a touch-screen that does not require a stylus, the Pavilion tx1000 with its twist feature enables easy sharing of presentations across the worktable. It has an integrated fingertip reader that allows multiple assigning of individual fingerprints for user accounts and private files, making the tx1000 secure.

It also comes with an integrated webcam and dual, omni-directional microphones for easy video-conferencing.

Its powered by AMD Turion64 x2 mobile processor, and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Vista Home Premium Edition.

Pricing for the HP Pavilion tx1000 Entertainment Laptop PC starts at Rs. 59,990.

i can't find the stlus on mine and the battery is always running out on me!!! and like said before gets dirty easily!!

Yes U said it.. The battery wont last more than 2 hrs ,becoz u havent updated u r lap with latest BIOS and nvidia Graphics. The latest nvidia drivers have Powermizer technology which helps to increase battery life.. The battery life is very good compared to other brands or laptops.bcoz The battery has only 4 cells but otherlaptops have only 6-8 cells having only 2 and half hrs battery life only!!!!!!the screen is pukka good enough to handle and the resolution is similar to 15 ' lcds. glare is not an disadvantage. Crystal Brite technology screen which helps u to read and enjoy graphics clearly.
we cannot use any laps for outdoor use.
price is comparatively cheap.
around 60000 rs.
Worlds first tablet with Vista preloaded,so pls be aware that this machine has some limitations.

Bro dis machine is really not worth it. The battery wont last for more than 2 hours. The display always reflects your own face. Many magazines suggest that you need atleast 2 GB RAM for Vista to perform well. U cant use it on a domain based network. Spill water or anything on it and d machine is done. Not a very repsonsive touchscreen either. I hav purchased dis 1 and thts y i dnt wnt ne1 to waste their money on it.

Do not buy this machine.. Reasons - Poor battery life, bad display, no anti-reflective coating on screen, glossy outer gets dirty easily, no hard disk protection, cant be configured for a domain based network and a lot more disadvantages.. Not recommended
