This week at Infocomm, Sanyo announced the high-luminance PLC-XF47 projectors.
While with most projectors, it is recommended to keep the room as dark as possible for optimum image clarity, the Sanyo PLC-XF47 projects at a whopping 15,000 lumens eliminating such a requirement, making it ideal for daylight projection or just for people afraid of the dark.
The weird thing is that while other projector manufacturers are going the high definition way, Sanyo is keeping this one limited to a native resolution of 1024x768. The PLC-XF47 will be available by October 2007 at $29,995.00.
