LG Electronics India (LGEIL) today announced the launch of its Pearl Black LCD TV range, the first in its 'Design Art' series. Available in 32-inch and 42-inch sizes, the new products have a glossy piano black finish, a ring-shaped stand, and a wave-inspired bezel design. Available in red and black, the ring is a unique feature that is both utilitarian and stylish.

The Pearl Black series offers a great viewing experience with LG’s exclusive XD Engine, enhanced 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time, which create deeper blacks and provide a fuller range of colors. It also incorporates LG’s Intelligent Eye technology to optimize brightness and contrast according to ambient light, guarding against eye fatigue.
LG’s proprietary Simple Link technology allows greater control of other compatible equipment such as DVD players and home theater systems. Also incorporated into the LB9 series are LG’s dimple speakers, which create a complete movie experience by providing dynamic and powerful sound through minimized airflow turbulence, without disrupting the TV’s sleek aesthetics.
The Pearl Black LCD TVs are available in 32-inch and 42-inch screen sizes at Rs 59,000 and Rs 98,000 respectively.
Well, I have check it out in a LG Lifetyle Shoppe but it wasnt so great. However the Hometheater is sweet, at 98,000 i prefer to buy a Plasma. [:D]
