Apple Inc. has sued the creator of an iPhone -like interface for other phones, which used the iPhone icons from the screenshots.
Imitation is the one of the most popular forms of flattery that almost any Mac product receives. Fake iPods, OSX-like skins for Windows and now iPhone icons for your Windows Mobile phone.
The application was cheekily named iPhony, developed by MoDaCo founder Paul O'Brien, and posted online. And he was not the only one to receive legal action from the iPhone maker — Apple Inc. has also reportedly sued the bloggers who posted it to their blogs.
Apple is presently being sued by Cisco for the use of the latter's trademarked name 'iPhone'.
