Mauj Telecom in patnership with All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, has launched an exclusive Wimbledon Mobile portal. The multi-modal portal is available on sms, voice and WAP/GPRS.
Tennis buffs can catch match schedules, score updates and Wimbledon news by sending 'WIMBLEDON' as an sms to 7007 while the Mauj Talk Voice portal can be accessed by calling 5057007 on the mobile phone. Wallpapers, videos, video ringtones, themes, colour logos and other mobile content will be available on www.mauj.com and on wap.mauj.com on GPRS/EDGE phones.
Throughout the Wimbledon fortnight, wallpapers and videos of daily preview, individual match highlights, player interviews and daily round-up will be updated approximately within two hours of the matches.
A separate zone featuring 101 Golden Moments of Wimbledon History including videos and images of some of the most memorable moments at Wimbledon is being built. Golden Moments include historic tennis battles between Martina Navratilova and Steffi Graf, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg, Andre Agassi and Goran Ivanisevic. Pete Sampras's epic seven victories and the fierce battles of the Williams sisters will also included.
