Motorola has been slowly going down the tube, so in a valiant effort to try and salvage the situation, new CEO Greg Brown is actively taking stock of the situation. Apparently, Brown is going to take a more direct look into Motorola’s slumping handset division in an attempt to ensure that the decision to sell the division off – or perhaps turn it around drastically – goes without a hitch.
Motorola was USA’s biggest mobile handset maker and as we’ve mentioned before, the pioneer in the mobile industry. Unfortunately the company just couldn’t seem to keep up with some of the emerging trends. But I have to say they’re not going down without a fight.
With models like the RIZR Z10 and ROKR E8, I’m not sure why they’re doing so badly though. Even the quarterly figures seem to indicate otherwise. Anyway, let’s wait and see just what Mr Brown and MOTO have in store. Stay Tuned.
