Mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia has introduced its mobile search application that allows users to search for content stored on their devices. The new application enables users to search content ranging from emails, text messages and calendar entries, to videos and music files. Nokia Mobile Search indexes the information stored on the Nokia device and then lets users find what they're looking for.
Nokia Mobile search will work with over 20 partners from around the world and will be available in over 40 languages. Nokia claims that the Mobile Search application is a simple, convenient, and fast way to find and connect to content users want - whether on the Internet through local service providers or search engines or already stored in the Nokia compatible device - directly from your Nokia device.
Ralph Eric Kunz, vice president, Multimedia Experiences, Nokia said, "Nokia Mobile Search has proven to be a hit with people who want access to information and services at their fingertips and now we’re bringing that same ease of use to search for content you already have on your Nokia device. Whether you are trying to find a calendar entry, find the SMS your friend sent days ago, or track down a multimedia file you downloaded, Nokia Mobile Search is the easiest way to find what you are looking for on your device."
Nokia Mobile Search with My Content search supports the Nokia N95, Nokia N93i, Nokia N93, Nokia N92, Nokia N91, Nokia N91 8GB, Nokia N80 Internet Edition, Nokia N80, Nokia N76, Nokia N73 Music Edition, Nokia N71, Nokia E70, Nokia E62, Nokia E61, Nokia E60 and Nokia 3250 devices. The service is now available as a free download for compatible Nokia devices from www.nokia.com/mobilesearch.
