Nokia has finally launched the much awaited E65 smartphone, a business style slider phone with all the mobile business capabilities of a Nokia Eseries device with a touch of style. It's available in colors like mocha and red with a leather finish. The E65 offers easy access to frequently used applications using the 'One Touch Keys' provided on the front cover.

The E65 sports a 2 mega-pixel camera with video and audio streaming and supports 3GPP and Real Media formats. The phone also supports an MP3/ AAC music player, media player and Java MIDP 2.0-based games and applications. It also supports Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) DRM 1.0 with forward lock. The E65 supports VoIP calls via integrated WLAN and comes with a five-way Nokia NaviTM key with two customizable soft keys, power key that can be used as a profile key and My Own key. It runs on the S60 3rd Edition, built on the Symbian operating system.
The Nokia E65 also has an 'Active Standby' feature that allows the user to customize the phone display allowing for shortcuts to be displayed on the main screen. The device can also be integrated with leading corporate telephony systems with Nokia Intellisync for Cisco, Alcatel and Avaya one-X Mobile Edition.
The device can be utilized worldwide using the quadband GSM and 3G networks. It is also capable of providing fast broadband data connectivity with 3G WCDMA and WLAN. It supports POP/IMAP, SMTP, and IMAP4 with idle protocols as well as connectivity via Dual Transfer Mode (DTM), Bluetooth wireless technology, Pop-Port Connector and IrDA, EGPRS, GPRS, local (peer-to-peer) synchronization of calendar, contacts, notes and to-do list via Bluetooth technology, IR, or USB connectivity cable. The other functions include voice dialing, voice commands and voice recording.
The Nokia E65 is priced at approximately Rs. 25,000.
