Samsung Telecommunications India (STI) has announced the launch of SGH-P310—a credit card size phone.
The P310 is 8.5mm in width, with a chrome and black exterior. Resembling a credit card, the P310 will be available at Rs 21,499.
The P310 features a large 1.9" 262K QVGA color screen, touch sensor soft key, 2 megapixel camera, Quadband, Bluetooth wireless support, Email, Direct TV Out, Privacy Lock, Pictbridge, mobile printing and 80 MB of internal memory. Embedded software—Piscel Viewer in P310, allows access to business critical information in a seamless format. Supporting all popular office formats like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, HTML, and Standard Image formats, the P310 displays downloads exactly as they appear on the desktop PC to view, manipulate and send. The Privacy Lock feature permits discretion and confidentiality.

Its 'Direct TV Out' function enables recorded video films, images, office documents and video games to be played on the television screen or through a data projector. It can also be used to play your MP3 melodies on hi-fi audio systems.
