Another new phone from Samsung, but this isn't a slider as its look would suggest. The phone has a touch screen interface on which the virtual keypad appears. Yeah, nothing that hasn't been done before, but the difference in the new W559 is that the phone vibrates to emulate tactile feedback, which is absent from conventional touch screen devices.
This technology is called VibeTonz, developed by Immersion, and is also used in the Samsung A870 clamshell. The W559 features a 262k color QVGA display, touch screen with handwriting recognition and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
There's no info on when this CDMA handset is likely to launch and at what price.
