PDA phone and smart phone provider, Dopod International, has announced its support for Windows Mobile 6, as a software platform in its new products. Dopod plans to launch its first device running on Windows Mobile 6 in April 2007. It also announced that all new products launched after that will also be equipped to run on this new mobile software platform.

This announcement is in line with Microsoft's recent launch of Windows Mobile 6, the newest version of its mobile software platform which features new messaging tools, tighter security and improved productivity.
