Epson has announced the launch of the Epson Stylus Photo RX610 and RX 690 inkjet photo multifunction printers (MFP).
The advanced formulation of the Epson Claria Photographic Inks offers the 'high definition' standard in photo prints with durability of up to 200 years (in dark album storage conditions). Using a six color ink configuration, the inks promise vibrant colors, accurate reproduction and strong gloss for a photo lab finish.
At the core of the Epson Stylus Photo RX 610 and RX 690 lie the twin drivers – the Micro Piezo print head and Advanced Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), which control both speed and quality in printing. The award-winning Micro Piezo ensures consistency during prolonged printing, while the Advanced VSDT intelligently manages ink droplet sizes and resolutions up to 5760 dots per inch.
The Epson Stylus Photo RX690 calls the shots with A4 print and copy speeds of up to 40 pages per minute for both black text and color documents. The draft 4R photo prints can be printed in as little as 12 seconds. Priced at Rs. 14,500 ( MRP), the printer is available from Dec 2007.
The Epson Stylus Photo RX610 prints at speeds of up to 37 ppm (pages per minute) for A4 sized black text document and 38 ppm for color documents. A4 copy speeds are almost equivalent at 37 copies per minute. Draft 4R prints are accomplished in just 12 seconds. Priced at Rs. 12,600 (MRP) the printer is available from Dec 2007.
