LG is going at it with the Chocolate brand beyond what Motorola did with the RAZR (V3, V3i, V3c, V3m, maXX and what not). Their latest exhibit at ITU Telecom 2006 in Hong Kong is a new clamshell — the U830. The most impressive features of the 14.8mm thin U830 are HSDPA support and 185 MB of built-in phone memory.
It even comes with a standard, 3.5-mm stereo jack to plug in your favorite earphones, along with a dedicated key for accessing the MP3/AAC music player. It also has a 2-megapixel digital camera and Bluetooth connectivity with A2DP stereo. It has a 2.2-inch internal display and a 1.3-inch external display. The U830 is expected to offer upto 3 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
There's no price info yet, but the phone is expected to be available exclusively with 3 in the UK.
