LG has just launched the C2600 mobile phone, called 'Pulse'. The main focus of this phone is music playback and comes with 128 MB of built-in memory, an FM radio tuner and preloaded song tones. On a day like this, a phone with only 128 MB of memory and no card slot would never appeal to music aficionados looking for a phone that suits their lifestyle, but the Pulse isn't very premium priced at Rs. 5,999.
The phone is 8.45cm high, 4.55cm wide and 2.17cm thick, weighing in at around 85gms. It has two rounded corners on opposite ends, which is very similar to the old Nokia 7610/6670 design. The C2600 is also known as the KG190 in its homeland.
Other than the music features, the Pulse has a VGA camera, a 128x128 65k color display, picture caller ID and voice recording features. The phone has support for GPRS (no EDGE) so you can browse WAP websites and send/receive MMS.
We are getting the phone for review sometime this week, so hang around to take a closer look at it.
