AMD has released the last set of its Catalyst driver for 2006 - 6.12. The new version resolves issues in Black & White 2, Neverwinter Nights, Cyberlink PowerDVD and Catalyst Control Center. Though problems with Battlefield 2, Sniper Elite, PowerDVD and menus in Catalyst Control Center still exist.
Among the few added features, the 6.12 release allows ATI CrossFire users to have DirectX video acceleration when CrossFire is enabled. The 6.12 version only supports Radeon 9500 and higher products including Radeon Xpress X1150 and 200 series chipsets.
