In Battlefield 2142 you'd normally spend days earning 'unlock points', which you could use to unlock up to 40 different weapons/items. But for the last weekend, developer DICE has unlocked all weapons/items for gamers, allowing us to try out everything the game has to offer. The unlock system will revert to its previous state at midnight today, so if you own a copy of BF 2142, be sure to try the unlocks out before that.

In an effort to let everyone preview all unlocks while playing in a ranked environment we will be granting all soldiers every one of the upgrades over the coming 4 days. Starting Friday and lasting until midnight PST Monday every soldier who logs in will be able to fight it out with every unlock in Battlefield 2142!
