Free Games for ATI Radeon Owners

Valve and AMD have formed an unholy alliance with just one motive — to give ATI Radeon users free goodies; and when I say goodies, I mean some really good goodies — namely Half-Life 2: Lost Coast (ok not that good) and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch (sah-weet!). If you're one of the lucky Radeon owners out there, head over here to collect your free goodies.


Now for the best part — if you've purchased the ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT, you'll receive the contents of the Blackbox completely free, which includes Team Fortress 2, Portal and Half-Life 2: Episode Two! All I have to say is – Damn you ATI! You did this just after I purchased my NVIDIA 8800 GTS... woe is me!

ATI will reign with AMD. It's called moore's law and Intel and nvidia are
advertising for good reason. Because their about to be blown out of the water. AGAIN. I think it's pretty decent of ATI to kick down some quality software to us old Radeon owners. I mean we're only waiting for the overpriced choppiness to pass so that we can have Superior hardware that doesn't waste my money. Nvidia will get played the way they were meant to be. Soak up the glory cuz it is going to be depressing when they're "workstation/midrange" planz don't play out the way they had expected. Socket GPU... just remember those words

oh come on. I would expect tech2 to see through clever marketing ploy to sell an inferior product.

sure, u get free games and all u can play are Dx9 stuff. Dx 10 is round the corner. I think despite ATI giving the deal, u are much better off buying the NVIDIA 8800 GTS!
