Steam Plans on Adding Audio/Video Content
By: Nikhil Singh   |   Feb 26,2008
Just when we thought that Valve's game distribution service couldn’t get any better, they go ahead and give us one more reason to love Steam! There’s word that Valve’s planning on adding music and video support to Steam.

Valve’s marketing VP, Doug Lombardi, revealed that these ideas were being discussed internally, and they’re already reaching out to companies that distribute this sort of media.

Steam’s already popular with over 15 million users. Add the ability to download and watch movies, TV shows and music videos and they’re sure to add another 15 million casual users that would want to check the service out, since it’s pretty much free to use.
