IDLDPL today introduced the new Creative Zen media player. Available in two capacities, 4 GB and 8 GB, this credit card-sized music, video, and photo player comes with a 2.5-inch color screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and supports up to 16.7 million colors.
The Creative Zen is the first player from Creative to support AAC music and unprotected iTunes Plus tracks from the iTunes store, in addition to MP3 and WMA formats. You can listen to tracks that you have ripped from CDs through your iTunes software.
The Zen supports audio books from various websites, and you can also download books and daily news reports. It also features an SD memory slot for external memory. Also supported are a wide selection of video formats, including WMV9, MJPEG, MPEG4-SP, compatible DivX 4 and 5, and XviD.
One charge of the built-in rechargeable battery, according to the company, will provide up to 5 hours of video or up to 25 hours of music playback. The device weighs 2.1 ounces and measures 3.26 x 2.16 x .44 inches. There's also a built-in microphone and a built-in FM radio.
The new Creative Zen is priced at Rs 9,999 for 4 GB and Rs 13,999 for the 8 GB model.
