Apple announces the availability of its 1 GB digital music player, iPod shuffle, in five new colors: blue, pink, green, orange and the original silver. The half a cubic-inch iPod shuffle holds up to 240 songs and is now available in all five colors for USD 79.
Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing said, "iPod shuffle is the world's most wearable digital music player. Music fans can now choose iPod shuffle in one of five brilliant colors, or they can buy one of each."
The iPod shuffle features up to 12 hours of battery life and lets users shuffle their songs to listen to them in a random order or flip a switch to listen to their songs in order. Users may connect their iPod shuffle to their PC or Mac with the included dock, and iTunes' AutoFill feature automatically syncs the selected number of songs from their music library.
