Canon today announced three new Office All-in-One (AIO) products — the Canon PIXMA MX700, MX310 and MX300. All of these printers offer printing, scanning, copying and faxing capabilities, while the MX700 will also offer users Ethernet connectivity for networked capability.
"Canon customers no longer have to choose between a business machine or a photo printer, as this product segment fulfills both requirements," said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A.
CANON PIXMA MX700
The PIXMA MX700 Office All-in-One Printer delivers output by using a maximum of 4800 x 1200 color dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution and four individual ink tanks for long-lasting prints and laser-sharp documents. It boasts a printing and copying speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 20 ppm in color.
The printer also features the copy function with the new Advanced Copy Technology that will allow users to easily erase the frame created around a small scan, trim any desired area on the original to be copied, and even white-out an unwanted area of the original before copying it - all right from the control panel. CANON PIXMA MX310
The MX310 provides printing, scanning, copying and faxing capability, including a 30-sheet Auto Document Feeder (ADF). The ADF allows for quick processing of multiple sheets for scanning, copying or faxing. Quality output is achieved by using up to 4800 x 1200 color dpi resolution while the ChromaLife100 system delivers longevity for long-lasting photo prints. The estimated selling price of the PIXMA MX310 Office All-in-One printer is $129.99.4
CANON PIXMA MX300
Designed for those with limited desk space, the PIXMA MX300 Office All-in-One Printer has the smallest footprint of the Canon Office AIO line, but still includes printing, scanning, copying and faxing applications. Scanning is made easy with the flatbed scanner while Super G3 fax technology transmits faxes rapidly and Canon's Advanced Copy Technology delivers faithful photo and document reproduction.
