Oblivion will look hotter on the PS3
By: Nikhil Singh   |   Oct 12, 2006
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will look better on the PlayStation 3 than its Xbox 360 and PC releases. The PS3 version for the game will benefit from the technological advances made by the next-generation console's hardware. Here's what they had to say about some of the graphical enhancements:

The best examples are those new shaders we have for how 'near detail' and 'far detail' blend together on the landscape. You no longer have a harsh line cutting across the two levels - they blend together seamlessly and the distant detail and land looks much nicer.

The PS3 version for the game will also have an addition quest called 'Knights of the Ninenights' which should extend the gameplay for quite a few hours. Oblivion will launch along side the PS3 on 17th November in the US.

Not surprising really. It has had 6 months extra development time.
