PS3 Oblivion Looks as Good as PC Version?

Now this may come off as some respite for PS3 owners who may be glad to know that the thousands they shelled out for this console will enable them to play The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion the way it was meant to be played.


Gamesites IGN and Gamespot spent some time with the PS3 version of this game and they seemed pretty impressed with what they saw; in fact they ended the article by saying the PS3 version of Oblivion looks as good as (if not better) the PC version (that’s assuming you ran the game on a really high end machine), which is saying a lot.

Not the same graphics...

Its only that the Shader thingies which make the far off roads appear proper rather than like some pixelated images will be updated...

The textures and all that will stay the same.

well, today IGN has stated that the same graphics can be achieved by 360 through updates.

Saw this News yesterday itself and read the previews too :P They seem to use "tad bit" and the like adjective words a lot... to be on the safe side and not start a flame war or something I guess :P

And if you guys had Resistance... I think there would have been a gun from it in that top 10 Gun list. or if you played ratchet and clank games.
