PS3 Shortages and its Effects
By: Nikhil Singh   |   Dec 17,2006
According to market analysts, the shortage of PS3s in the markets is helping Sony sell PS2 software.

In the long run though, Sony will lose the loyalty of a lot of developers due to the lack of consoles in the market, who will probably develop their games for the Xbox 360 instead.

The Wii somehow, doesn't fit into this equation, since people who can't get their hands on a PS3, opt for a Xbox 360 more often than a Wii. With the number of pissed-off PS3 buyers who're turning to the Xbox 360 increasing, these analysts predict that the 360 is quite likely to meet its 10 million console mark at the end of this year.
