3GSM: HTC Shows off the Vox
By: Aalaap Ghag   |   Feb 13, 2007

HTC has officially announced the Vox, also known as the S710, a new Windows Mobile handset from the OEM manufacturer.

This one also, like the Toshiba before it, offers a slide-out, full QWERTY keypad, but the interesting part is that this isn't a touch-screen smartphone on the outside. It runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard, which is the non-touch screen smartphone edition of the OS.

The feature set is no great shakes here: a standard quad-band GSM/EDGE radio, no 3G, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, 128MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM, microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth etc.
