HTC, provider of Microsoft Windows Mobile-based smart devices, has launched the HTC S710.
The S710 is powered by the new Windows Mobile 6 Standard platform that provides mobile Office Outlook experience, better control of Outlook Mobile Calendar, Internet Explorer Mobile browsing and Windows Live. It also offers better interoperability with Exchange Server 2007 providing users with improved e-mail management (such as Fetch Mail and Set Flags), Out-of-Office assistant, and HTML e-mail viewing capabilities. The phone allows users to view Microsoft Office documents and PDF files on the go using the document viewers on the phone.
The smartphone features semi auto-sliding full Qwerty keyboard and connection options, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also has a 2.0 megapixel camera and a 2.4" QVGA TFT LCD backlit screen.
Ajay Sharma, Country Manager, HTC/Dopod Communication (India) said, "We are delighted to offer more choice to our customers with the launch of the S710 handset in India. The S710 comes with a semi auto-sliding full Qwerty keyboard and it aims to redefine the smartphone with its attractive and sleek design. We are positive that this latest offering from us would be highly appreciated by our customers who are looking forward for a smartphone that offers smarter lifestyle."
