HTC has launched the HTC Touch Cruise HSDPA enabled handset, the third member of the HTC Touch product family and the first to feature built-in GPS for personal navigation. As with the other Touch handsets the Cruise also employs HTC’s TouchFLO technology for finger touch scrolling and browsing of web pages, documents, messages and contact lists. TouchFLO also offers the ability to view photos and photo slideshows using on-screen controls and to zoom and rotate images with only one hand.
The HTC Touch Cruise comes in Black Sapphire. The HTC also has a quick access Home screen for access to emails, text messages, calendar appointments and contacts as well as current weather conditions and forecasts for various cities. Users can then sweep their finger up the display to launch an animated, three-dimensional interface comprising three screens: Contacts, Media and Applications. The new Touch Cruise also comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and has a large 2.8 inch touch screen. It runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional with built-in Windows Media Player for Audio and Video.
“The original HTC Touch has already proved to be a phenomenal success in India, and the HTC Touch Cruise with fully integrated GPS adds another dimension to our leading touchscreen device family.” Said Ajay Sharma, Country Manager, HTC (India).
The HTC Touch Cruise utilizes mapping and navigation solutions from the MapKing R12 application. Other key features include a 3 megapixel auto-focus camera, FM radio and microSD memory card slot for adding to the 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM. In addition, it comes with WorldCard Mobile to manage business cards.
The HTC Touch Cruise will be available at all authorized resellers at a suggested retail price of Rs. 32,990.

Buddy..HTC Diamond has its own limitations..its true that de newer interface s really cool compared to the present Touch Flo...
But just like Vista and XP..v gotta see which one is more stable..n wid a 900mah battery..i don think you can play for long hours...
V gotta wait for more devices on de newer platform..which ll take atleast an year more...
Even though Diamond is launched today..it ll be available only by June end...so..v gotta wait..
N i wonder why tech2 didnt cover that event yet!!!
