MOTOMING Reinvented... Again
By: Shayne Rana   |   Mar 28, 2008

Motorola has its issues with their whole mobile division seemingly falling apart or simply in a temporary (hopefully) state of disarray but that hasn’t stopped these guys from coming up with new handsets or at least reinventing old ones. The A1200 Ming was a great design concept as it was and Motorola’s desperately trying to make it better. A1600 was the next in line but it seems like they didn’t think that was enough, so enter the MING A1800.

From what we can see in the pictures the design seems to be more like the conventional MING was. The specs however are a different story. The A8100 will be equipped with a 3 megapixel autofocus camera, and get this... it’s a Dual Sim handset. It will support CDMA as well as GSM operators. So far that’s all that’s been revealed. Stay Tuned.

Motorolas suck ...and they suck big time!

I am currently using a Sony Ericsson K790i, and I can tell u, I haven't seen a better imaging phone i this category, perhaps even in a higher category ...

..I wish the current crisis in Motorola increases tenfold and they go bankrupt ...

..Amen to that !

I own the original motoming and it a real specimen of how obnoxious motorola quality can get. It is a smart phone only in looks but not from the uability perspective. Imagine... the silver chrome has come off in six months....the battery charging point cover has come off... and the service has no answer to this. I thinks it would help if instead of revinting the phone with sophisticated specs, Motorola would rather pay attention to ensuring basic quality in the phones. I would never take a motorola again.

motorola may come up with lots of modifications for motoming, but it is one of the phones with the worst ever battery back up; i bought this phone with great expectations after a wonderful experience with the motorazr, but the battery life of this phone made my life miserable with umteen visits to the service centre, infact moto was kind enough to even give me a replacement phone, but that too was bad, battery wont even come for a day; better luck this time motorola
