Competition seems to be getting really stiff as manufacturers are really pulling out all the stops when it comes to new phones. It seems like there's a new phone being designed and launched almost every second day. Samsung is also all set to release a total of 3 more phones into the market. The S730i, SV60 and Z170, all three comprising of all the mainstream form factors viz. Slider, Clamshell and Candy-bar respectively.
Like the Ultimate series, Samsung's S730i (I mode enabled) is a slider with the sensitive keypad. The phone’s TFT display resolution is of 176x220 pixels featuring 262K colors.
It’s equipped with 80MB of internal memory that can be extended by using external sources like microSD cards. It also has a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth with A2DP capabilities. It’s a slim phone having dimensions of 100x50x14.8 mm and weighs in at 83g.
The second phone is the clamshell SV60 3G enabled model. It has a 1-inch external CSTN display sporting 65k colors and a resolution of 96x96 pixels. The second and main internal TFT display is 1.9 inches and has a resolution of 176x220 pixels with 265k colors.
The SV60 has a two megapixel camera and a secondary VGA camera for video calls. It comes with 30MB of internal storage and microSD cards can be used to increase storage capacity.
The third phone is Samsung's Z170 candybar designed 3G enabled phone that’s just 9.3mm thick and weighs 76g. It has a 1.8 inch display with a resolution of 176x220 pixels and 262K colors.
The phone is equipped with 2 cameras, a 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor camera located at the rear and a second VGA camera for video calls. It has 55MB of internal memory and features a microSD memory card slot.
