My choice for the best handset Samsung had on display was the i550. Why? First off, it runs on a Symbian S60 OS and has a track ball for navigation quite like the Blackberrys (always loved that about them). It also comes fully equipped with an internal GPS receiver, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (with A2DP) a 3 megapixel camera and a sleek candybar design with a large 2.6 inch 240 x 320 pixel resolution display. It already has x150MB of internal memory but also supports external memory with microSD cards. What really makes me happy is that it has a 3.5mm earphone socket.
I also got a glimpse of the new Guru100 entry-level handset that’s making the scene and it’s quite a smart looking handset in my opinion.
The latest update from Samsung is that their time frame for almost all mobiles showcased will be available anytime from the next month till May. Stay Tuned.
