Apple No Longer Bug Free : Mcafee report
By: Jayesh Mansukhani   |   May 08, 2006
Of late, thanks to its move to the Intel Platform, Apple has been increasingly coming under scrutiny from security experts. It is therefore no surprise that the latest report by McAfee has attacked Apple's television campaigns that claim its operating system provides virus-free computing.

In a rather astonishing report McAfee has come up with a figure, which says that the number of vulnerabilities on the Macintosh platform has increased by about 200 percent in the past three years - from 45 in 2003 to 143 in 2005. That is a 200 percent increase in just 2 yrs! So much for being bug free!
