Vista To Be Crippled for Pirates
By: Jayesh Mansukhani   |   Apr 17, 2006
Microsoft and its delayed OS, Vista, have been a lot in the news. From its delay and its PC rating tool anything connected to the OS has been making news.

Now the latest, according to this report, is that pirated Versions of Vista will be handicapped. This will come as no surprise to anyone. Microsoft since the introduction of XP has taken a preemptive stand against piracy by introducing methods to block piracy. While their thoughts are in the right place their efforts have been useless against the determined wave of hackers and master scripters who have cracked their anti-piracy measures in days sometimes even in hours.

According to the new measure those not running a genuine Windows copy will not be able to enable the Windows Aero interface. Let us see how long this measure will last!
