Airtel Offers Calls at 50 paise/minute

Airtel has announced that all its prepaid customers in the Delhi and NCR circle will now be able to make local calls to any network (mobile and landline) at a reduced rate of 50 paise per minute by recharging with Rs. 49 only.

The Rs. 49 voucher comes with a validity of 30 days from the date of recharge and is applicable to both Lifetime and non-Lifetime customers.

The recharge is available on Easycharge only.

Shashi Arora, CEO – Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Mobile Services), Delhi and NCR said, "The Rs. 49 recharge has been especially designed keeping in mind our philosophy of offering affordable tariffs for our customers. This voucher offers the best value for money option to our pre-paid customers including Lifetime Prepaid customers. At Airtel we are positive that this initiative will greatly benefit our customers in the Delhi and NCR."

Why Delhi only eligible to this offer? This offer is 59 paise per minute in Andhra Pradesh after recharging with Rs.84 and works for 30 days. Why Airtel is showing this discrimination?

its good to hear that airtel reduces call rates
but what about GPRS service. In BSNL i use gprs in just Rs. 200 per month . what about airtel yaar.

what about post paid customers... why are these schemes offered to only pre-paid customers...

Plenty of such schemes by Airtel nowadays. There's also one with 100 local and SMS messages free with a recharge of Rs 38.

Just check your balance with *123# from time to time to check out the schemes that they advertise
