Reliance Communications (RCOM) has announced a cut of upto 50% in ISD rates for calls to all regions, including a further reduction in the rates to US/ Canada and Gulf. Reliance subscribers will be able to call landline users in UK for as low as Rs 2.99 per minute now.
"While a majority of the calling happens to US/ Canada and Gulf regions, where the calling rates have been reduced further, we found that there was also a steady growth in the calling to other parts of the world. This obviously can be attributed to the vast Indian Diaspora, as also the expanding business interests of Indian companies across the World", said Mr. S.P Shukla – President, Personal Business- Reliance Communications. "Today's changes will vastly benefit individual subscribers and corporates who call Europe, South East Asia and other parts of the World."
The new rates are applicable with Reliance Global Calling Cards of a new denomination of Rs 2250.
