'Tata Zone', the entertainment space on Tata Indicom mobile phones is now available in Hindi. This service, comes loaded with applications, pricing details, download and browsing instructions in Hindi.
Pankaj Sethi, President (VAS), Tata Teleservices Limited said, "We are confident that our customers will cherish our unique offering. This initiative will also further widen the reach of data services to a new segment hitherto unexposed to various exciting value-added services owing to language barrier. The Hindi language interface will go a long way in taking the data usage and application download pattern in India to the next level."
With Tata Zone - Hindi, customers will have access to fun and entertainment through a variety of applications like Cricket, Faith and Prayers, Bollywood and Hollywood movies, News, Astrology, Funzone, and Games. The entertainment zone also features a collection of ringtones and wallpapers.
"Tata Indicom Hindi speaking customers will now have access to host of entertainment and internet services that will add further fun and excitement in our handsets. Launch of Tata Zone in Hindi underlines our commitment of delivering the best-suited telecom services to India", said Sethi.
To activate the Hindi catalogue customers will have to select Hindi as their preferred language in their phone settings. They can also switch back to the English catalog on Tata Zone by changing Hindi to English in the same manner.
