Dell has introduced a new LCD panel ahead of CES, which packs in a whole new look and design. The Dell Crystal is a 22-inch widescreen LCD panel encased in a 4mm ultra-clear tempered glass that tapers off into a chrome-plated zinc alloy stand. The speaker has four integrated speakers and a slim webcam whose circuitry is embedded in the slim panel’s glass.
While the Dell Crystal may look exotic, its specifications are decidedly mass market. It has a native resolution of 1680 x 1050, 2ms response time, 2000:1 contrast ratio, connectivity via DVI/HDMI and a 2 megapixel cam with mic.
