Users may also use the in-built photo editor, Photo Artist, to edit pictures and the 'AB Repeater' to track and mix favorite audio sounds. Presence of blue tooth, one in-built speaker, voice recorder and video caller ID further enhance the utility and convenience.

Infi is another model that comes with two in-built speakers, designed especially for music buffs. Other features which distinguish Infi from Aura are 128 MB in-built memory, one touch FM radio, 750 mAh battery and one-touch smart digital camera with 4 x1 zoom facility.

It is also equipped with 1000 phone book memory. With silver finish, it weighs 68 grams and comes with the preloaded Disney content. The Infi is priced at Rs 5450.

Intex's 'King' is a candy bar monochrome phone available with one touch FM radio, soft keys, simplified iconic menu, speed dialing, polyphonic ring tones, instrumental melody composer, stand by time of 300 hrs and a message—SMS/ EMS up to 612 characters in Hindi and English.

The users get Mickey sing tones preloaded on this phone. King is priced at Rs. 2050.

Mr. Narendra Bansal, CMD, Intex said, "In the last two years, we have diversified into products which have a direct interface with the end users, such as, PCs, TFT-LCD monitors, DVD Players, Home Theatre Systems, etc. Our entry into mobile phones is aimed at satisfying the needs of communication of Indian masses. We have lined up an interesting range of phones with advanced features and good price points. Our association with Walt Disney will hopefully be of great interest to the intelligent, well-exposed and aspiring young generation of India."

He added, " Starting from North we will spread the range across the country in the coming three quarters of this FY. The venture is supported by a specialized team of service engineers and will soon be expanded. We are also planning to make the range available at our 'shop-in-shop' dedicated counters at 48 reputed chains of hyper markets and specialty stores across India. This year, we are going to add more than 70 such counters. With an aim to clock in a turnover of Rs. 100 crores by 2007-08, Intex aims to capture a place amongst top 5 brands by 2010."

i think that the company has taken a good relevant measure to expand its buisness in the field of mass communication.but in my opinion ,the INTEX COMPANY should start its mobile range on low rates as an introductiry offer.espicially in case of 'KING' priced at 2050 rs.,its rate should be lowered so that a huge no of people may buy it n hav a trustr in companys item....

Dear Jha , You guys are absolutely a big waste of time.........
all the phones you have got are cheap chinese products , with no quality at all. and for your kind information your phones (intex) are available in ghaffar market. dont underestimate gaffar market and stop calling it gray market and yourself as brand. ghaffar sells close to 2000 nokia phones a day and intex as a brand is a long long way to go. may be you are saying because you dont know , you are not from this industry and dont know at all what mobile business is all about.you are surrounded by a team of bufoons who have no creditability in the market. the most illiterate team a company can have is yours. Grow up fast or go to helllllllllllllllllll

i went to ghaffar to hb elec and biught the hedy gold (exact same as Aura) for 4600 . i got the bluetooth device and memmory card , leather bag also with it.
thanks dear ..........
sukhsagar chadha @ Apr 28,2007
Proper sourcing is one thing and just importing the phones and dumping it with the disributors and not supporting them is other.
That is what has gone wrong with these phones.
I am the first distributor appointed by intex mobiles , i have closed within a month seeing the quality of phones and the service backup .
dg @ Apr 28,2007
Many people source GSM phones from China / Taiwan.
They are also doing the same.
Aura the phone they are banking on is available at 4800/- in ghaffar market.
It is actually called HEDY.
The shopkeeper was explaining how people take out the Hedy label and put their own name and sell it with huge margin.
Wonder...............
pa........... @ Apr 25,2007
All these models are copied from Spice mobiles range.
i saw it and was planning to buy infi then the dealer adviced me and showed spice which was a better bet .i bought spice.
Surprizing thing is these phones are made in the same factory as spice . only thing they are changing is label.
abid @ Apr 25,2007
Dont even think of buying these............
bought one intex phone in delhi , started hanging in a weeks time.
no body is there to help, no distributors ,no service centers. There is one so called service center in okhla but there are no parts available. No body from service team was there.
dukhi customer @ Apr 25,2007
