Braun Communications LLC has launched an unusual video sharing website, EXPEERi Retro Video, introducing a new trend in video sharing.
Representatives say the site intends to bridge the divide between generations by making the users’ experience educationally stimulating, historically significant, and culturally interesting. Also, XPEERi claims to boost of a robust server with plenty of bandwidth and space. Mark Brown, founder of the XPEERi brand says, "The site looks to archive users’ personal experiences with a unique Geographical Mapping feature."
The Geographical mapping feature allows users to find Videos, based on their geographical location and chronological date. Users may select a date or date range and then double-click on the featured map, to view video locations, across the globe. For example, Anaheim, CA would include the film Disneyland 1961, while Brooklyn Stroll with Grandma 1957 would be under a Brooklyn, NY indicator.
The site’s focus is unique to the video sharing craze in that it offers a look into the past. Representatives say, while many sites have little or no focus, XPEERi Retro archives the user’s legacy.
