Yahoo! Invites customers to make Advertisements

Yahoo! now wants its customers to make video advertisements for them, but won't be paying them anything. The portal has put out an open offer to anyone who wants to shoot a 12 second commercial for Yahoo!, the best of which will be featured on their video portal at video.yahoo.com.

The offer is similar to the one Mozilla Firefox made, for television advertisement.

The portal has also invited students from various art schools like Yale, San Francisco Art Institute, Parsons School of Design and London Film Academy to participate in the initiative with edited videos. However, the scripts for all the advertisements will be provided by Yahoo!'s advertising agency, OgilivyOne.
