Worst Wii injury till date
By: Avinash Bali   |   Dec 15, 2006

You keep reading about people getting hurt or hurting others while playing the Wii, but I think we have a winner for the worst Wii injury till date. Liz was minding her own business, blissfully playing the Legend of Zelda on her Wii when her boyfriend intervened to help her out with a boss fight, and then it happened.

Her boyfriend, Jim, who by the way is responsible for this 'accident' (I'm guessing he's going to be confined to the couch for a long time) gives us the lowdown on the events that lead up to this 'accident'. "The day our Wii arrived also happened to be when my work was holding our Christmas party. Not being one to forego free booze, off I went leaving the girlie to play to her hearts content. After guzzling a copious amount of 'wife beater' (Stella Artois) - I returned home to find the girlie in mid battle with a Zelda 'Boss'. In my inebriated state, it was instinctual to become her knight in shining armour. I proceeded to take the controllers off her and fight the beast myself.

Unfortunately, my courage was far greater then my skill. Having taken a good kicking, Liz then tried to intervene with disastrous results. She approached me from the side, appearing from my blind spot, whilst I was performing a slashing movement. I hit her with full force right in her eye!

I truly thought I'd blinded her and was almost about to call an ambulance but then her pain died down."

It's official, the Wii is a health hazard

H Mzz, thats easier said than done. Though I have never played a Wii, but it is imaginable that its hard to control ur emotions/excitment while playing this current-gen console (No, Kidding. It is a current gen console, the president said it himself). So lets just all forget whats happened till now, and remember to have a First Aid Kit with u while playing.

AND SHE HAS A BOY FRIEND ???

People are idiotes. If you run around the house with scissors, then you might do even more damage. People are also over excitible and need to calm down and not to frow themselves around the room..........there body movement has little if any contribution to the input they have into the game. Its all about the wrist action guys and girls. And please do hold on to the remote whilst swigging it, coz if you dont, you probably will give it enough force to propel it for short distance. If anyone is standing in the path of flight of the remote, the force will most probably (according to physic) be transefere into persons face or any other body parts. This probably will coz swelling................ Straps are not the problem stupid people are. Bless them though, unleast they got good taste...
